The Munch Museum has educational facilities available for nurseries, schools, colleges universities, study groups and other groups. The museum’s educational department may arrange special programs for schools. Preparatory teacher packs can be downloaded (in norwegian) from this website and consist of a text for teachers, a text aimed at pupils aged 10-12, as well as jpeg images that can be used in Powerpoint presentations.
We encourage teachers who want to bring their classes to the museum on their own without ordering a guided tour, to phone in advance and agree at specific arrival time to avoid collision with the museum’s own guided tours. Teachers are responsible for the behaviour of their own pupils; that they keep calm and walk together as a group.
